Description
Jamdani, a craft done while weaving at the handloom using extra weft has been deployed to make this ordinary wrap. It has then traveled to almost 1100 miles to a place where the women at home have done an embroidery called ‘zardozi’ on it, which means sewing with gold. The 2 birds sitting on a tree branch that the women artisan has embroidered are inspired by the Asoka tree at her home and a mother-daughter duo that sits on the tree every evening.
