Ajrakh printing is an arduous process that requires a number of stages of printing and washing the fabric repeatedly, using traditional colors that symbolize nature. The piece traveled from a little garden blooming with flowers to a quaint village nestled behind a sand dune, during the process of its making. It took two months to complete the handmade silk scarf.
